What does a legal document do?
Legal documents protect transactions. Whether you are buying or selling, or even giving something away, you need to have a signed agreement. If a dispute should arise over an agreement, it is unlikely that a judge will rule in your favor if there is no written contract stating the guidelines of the agreement.
